Have you ever noticed that time flies by faster as you age? I wonder of the spirits that live in my house. Do they even notice time? I laugh when they knock things off the walls after I rehang them once again. They make all kinds of noises including elusive melodies that I barely can hear.
I speak to them when I'm typing intently on the keyboard as a new story emerges. "Quiet you crazy spirit, I'm typing here!"
Actually, my mischievous spirits tend to give me ideas for my stories. After all, they only want you to notice them, listen to them, talk to them.
When I feel like speaking with them I get images of what they looked like in life. One is an elderly man who has a temper. He's the one who knocks things about. He's funny in a serious way. Sometimes I get the slight smile through pursed lips but I know he likes it here. He's not ready for the other side, he says. I wonder if he'll dress up for me on Halloween to try and scare me silly.
Do you think people who watch scary movies with spirits in them believe in spirits?
Happy Halloween

SPRING HAS SPRUNG...Makes SENSE!
Finally, spring is here! The snow will still fly for a while but it will melt, melt, melt! Yay!!!
Just thinking of those crisp green leaves, the crocus's, the tulips and daffodils that will break through the ground, awakening for another season, makes my heart sing. Can you smell the scent of the earth as it thaws?
Smell, touch, sight, taste, feel, these are the senses that we use everyday. Few people even think of them or realize that they even use them because they are such a big part of us. Have you ever just sat in a forest and listened to nature as it sang around you. Smelled the wonderous scents of the flora and listened to the creatures as they go about their business on the ground, in the trees and in the sky? How about listening to water trickle by in a creek?
As you wait patiently for the snow to disappear try taking some time to just stand there, close your eyes and listen to nature's call. Sniff the air to catch the scents. Touch the new flowers soft petals. Feel the vibrations of life around you.
What do you feel when you finally leave your home and step outside to greet the spring?

Luck Of The Irish... Fact? Fiction? Superstitiion Or Paranornal?
With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, one might stop and ponder just what exactly is the luck of the Irish?
Is it fact? Fiction? Superstition Or Paranormal?
Belief and powers of the mind may be a large contributor, but what of those beautiful little men in green they talk about? Do they really send luck to those in need who desevre it? Hey little man, I'm right over here! LOL
Why do people kiss the Blarnee Stone? Why do they avoid walking under a ladder? Why do they freak if they break a mirror?
What of Fairies, Unicorns, and other mythical creatures? Do you believe in any of them? What are your beliefs? What are your superstitions?

Paranormal is not all about death and ghosts!
Paranormal seems to often get lumped into limited points of view. It certainly does include spirits, those who have passed over and some who have not, but it is so much more than that.
Paranormal means: "Beyond the range of normal experience or scientific explanation."
A sudden unexplained chill in the room, the mysterious smell of roses for a brief moment, dreams of loved ones passed, knowing whose calling before you pick up the phone, that intense feeling of driving a different route this time around only to find out later you missed a terrible accident, objects mysteriously disappearing, then showing up right where you had already looked before! Looking at your child and having that intense feeling, something is not right, then they come down with a nasty cold or take a bad spill on their bike that day.
There are many explanations for many experiences. We all have paranormal experiences in our lives, virtually every day! Some can be logically explained away, others can not.
Paranormal also has a great deal to do with belief and faith. Did I dream about my brother because he came to visit me? Or was it simply because he came up in a recent discussion, or I had just looked at his picture. Powers of the mind are extrordinay regardless of what race or creed you are. The ability to explain it will always be there, but what of your belief? What of your faith?
For most every day people, these experiences, or intuitions may be limited and tied to the people we love most, because there is an emotional connection. This makes you open and susceptable to the "what ifs." There are some of us, that have allowed ourselves to become more open, which increases our range of experiences in frequency and intensity.
Is everyone capable of developing more powerful intuition and connections to the spirit realm? Dream scaping? Sixth Sense? I totally believe this is the case. It is a matter of personal belief and perserverance. Educate yourself, become informed, discuss these topics with those around you!
For those that fear the paranormal, fear is tyically based on lack of information. Get informed and your fears will subside! Research, talk and ask! We all all connected in some way and nothing in this life is merely co-incidence. Everything happens for a reason.
So what do you believe?

Have you ever walked into a room and just known that someone was staring at you, even though you couldn't see them?
Have you ever entered a room to greet a couple who smiled at you in welcome, yet you could feel that they'd been fighting?
Ever been alone in the house and out of no where something falls, crashing to the ground on the other side of the room?
How about feeling chills climb up your spine for no apparent reason, or sensing that you're not alone, though there is no one there.
Has the phone rang just as you reached over to pick it up, and it's your sister, who you were just going to call?
These are just a few examples of psychic phenomena that happen every day?
Have a story? We'd love to hear it.
